Ok. My girlfriend has started getting very insecure about herself, and wants constant reurances from me. She thinks her life is fu*ked up whenever the slightest of things happen. I don't mind girls that are emotional: I talk to her, I comfort her. But I don't like to do this each and everyday, and that is exactly what is happening. I ask her what's happening with her, and when she tells me about stuff like "no one KNOWS her in college, she's just a nobody here" is what irks me. Why do girls want to be someone? I tell her that I love her, and her friends love her; and that should be enough. But she just doesn't get it, and thinks I have it easy in my life when I don't. We've been going out for a year, and this has been happening for almost 5 months now. I want to be there for her from time to time, but I want her to stand up on her feet too.
