Do cops ever patrol highways in north dakota, montana or idaho?

I have driven the entire length of those states twice now and didn't really happen to see any cops patrolling the highways. I could go 120-150 if I wanted to and no one is ever out there patrolling the road. Do those states even have state troopers or highway
