Question about repairing a suede couch...?

I have a suede couch which sides have been clawed by cats. There are no tears, just hundreds of small puncture holes that are visible and unattractive. Are there suede repair kits similiar to those leather repair kits? Re-upholstery is a last resort as the price is the same cost of purchasing a new couch. Suggestions?
