Goldfish and Tropical Fish... together?!?!?

... goldfish prefer temps 68-74 while tropical fish do best in 78-82, and my question is not whether they can survive in the same conditions so much as how would the fish get along. I am not considering actually testing this out, but I am curious... goldfish are pretty peacefully so what would happen if a molly, guppy, platy, tetra or danio was thrown in with a goldfish. Community fish and goldfish both are generally peaceful and I'm really just curious (because theoretically, while not ideal, hardy goldfish and tropical fish could probably compromise with a 75-76degree tank)
