Please help me over come my shyness??!!?

i am sooo shy around people i dont know well. in my homeroom, there are these other 4 8th graders and i dont even talk to them. i feel really weird just sitting there listening to them. i think they think im strange because i dont talk. i dont know what to add to their conversations. plz help me out!!! thx!
